3 DAYS IN ATLANTIC CITY | Saying Goodbye to The Hook + Tropicana, Casinos & Summer Fun - September 4, 2026 - SpotWright
Come along with us for 3 days in Atlantic City, New Jersey as we enjoy one last summer getaway and say goodbye to one of our favourite shows, The Hook at Caesars Atlantic City.
The main reason for this trip was seeing The Hook two more times before the show ends, but we packed plenty into our three days in Atlantic City — from the beach and Boardwalk to casinos, restaurants, shopping and nightlife.
We stayed at Tropicana Atlantic City in the South Tower and spent time exploring Tropicana, Caesars and Ocean Casino Resort. We also checked out the Tanger Outlets, relaxed on the Atlantic City beach and visited Boo Bar at Resorts.

Thinking about spending a weekend in Windsor, Ontario? In this video, I take you along for our full Windsor getaway, including our stay at Caesars Windsor, casino gaming in both Canada and the United States, local restaurants, shopping and waterfront sightseeing.
We stayed in the Forum Tower at Caesars Windsor and share my honest review of the room, casino, amenities and overall experience. We also crossed the border through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel to visit MGM Grand Detroit and compare the casino experience on both sides of the border.
Along the way, we explored downtown Windsor, walked the beautiful waterfront overlooking Detroit, shopped at Windsor Crossing Premium Outlets and tried several local restaurants and bars including Loose Goose, Café 377, Funky Chow Kitchen and I Know The Owner (IKTO) Tiki Bar.
